Why Join UNITH?

We're seeking an experienced Senior Site Reliability Engineer to join our platform team. This critical role will own our infrastructure reliability, scalability, and operational excellence. You'll work closely with our Principal Software Engineer and platform team to maintain and enhance our AWS-based infrastructure that powers our digital human platform and AI synthesis capabilities.

Responsibilities :

Lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of our cloud infrastructure on AWS

Architect and maintain high-availability systems with appropriate redundancy and disaster recovery capabilities

Design and implement monitoring, alerting, and observability solutions across our platform

Optimize and maintain CI / CD pipelines for our microservices architecture

Manage and secure AWS services including :

Compute : EC2, Lambda

Caching : ElastiCache (Redis)

Networking : VPC, Cloudfront

Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) best practices

Lead incident response and post-mortem processes

Mentor team members on best practices for reliability and scalability

Collaborate with the AI team to ensure ML model deployment and video synthesis services meet performance requirements

Drive security and compliance initiatives for our cloud infrastructure

Requirements :

5+ years of experience in DevOps, SRE, or Cloud Engineering roles

Strong expertise with AWS services and architecture patterns

Experience managing containerized applications and orchestration

Demonstrated experience with Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation, etc.)

Experience with observability tools and practices (metrics, logging, tracing)

Strong knowledge of Linux / Unix systems administration

Experience with API gateway patterns and microservices architecture

Familiarity with Python and Node.js ecosystems

Experience with message queuing systems (RabbitMQ) and caching solutions (Redis)

Knowledge of security best practices in cloud environments

Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

Nice to Have :

AWS Professional level certifications

Experience with machine learning operations (MLOps)

Experience with media streaming or video processing services

Knowledge of FastAPI and Node.js frameworks

Experience with data pipelines and analytics infrastructure

Background in high-performance or high-scale systems

Experience with BI tools integration (Metabase)
