Industrial Process Safety professional
Industrial Process Safety professional with an engineering degree with Chemical and / or Process engineering major and sound understanding of Process Safety Management frameworks, complemented with Chemical, Petrochemical and / or Renewable Energies industries experience.
Among others, the proposed role functions are :
To participate and lead functional safety studies such as risk analysis, HAZOPs, HAZIDs, LOPAs, Verifications.
To develop emergency plans, major accident analysis, area classification studies, and others related with industrial safety.
To participate in asset management studies such as FMEAs, RBMs and maintenance & operations developments for both client’s projects and operations.
To lead or supervise the development of study reports and presentations for the services referred above, ensuring that quality standards established by TEMA are met.
To maintain and nurture relationships with TEMA’s core clients strengthening TEMA’s position of strategic safety and environment lead advisor.
To identify client needs and accompany the development of proposals to support them, leveraging from TEMA’s team capabilities.
To assist the growth of TEMA’s talent coaching and assisting younger technicians.
To participate in TEMA’s innovation processes leveraging from both internal and external capabilities from strategic partners and clients alike.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES
~5 years’ experience with significant exposure to the above-mentioned functions.
~3 years’ experience working in a medium or large chemical asset in an operational capacity (such as operations, HSEQ, processing, maintenance or other).
~ Sound knowledge of the chemical and process industry standards and frameworks related to Process Safety Management, Health Safety & Environment and Operational Performance.
~ Experience in services management, leading teams and liaising with clients.
~ Advanced level of English.
~ Sound knowledge of specific processing industries such as Chemical, Petrochemical, Energy, Food, Pharmaceutical, Mineral Processing or others.
~ Preferred degree in Chemical or Industrial Engineering, with additional chemical processing major or experience.

We also value experience & exposure to :
specific modelling applications typically used in chemical industry to study & model risks & adverse events, such as EFFECTS, PHAST, RISKCURVES, SAFETI, PHAWorks, PHA-Pro, DNV-Pro among others.
Applications related to asset management : RAM & Dynamic Modelling, FMECAs, Maintenance Development & CMMS packages.
