Our Trina Tracker Division specializes in the design, manufacture, and supply of advanced solar tracking systems for utility-scale photovoltaic projects.About the RoleWe are looking for a Presales Engineer to join our team in Viana or Madrid, with the option of remote work. In this role, you will contribute to boosting sales and driving the development of our tracker solutions in international projects. If you are looking to grow in a technically challenging, innovation-driven environment, this could be your next opportunity.Key ResponsibilitiesAct as the technical contact point for clients : engage in dialogue, gather requirements, and help shape the right strategy.Collaborate with technical and sales teams, as well as customers, to define project scope and solution design.Analyze project scope and review documentation.Prepare preliminary design documents, project costs, and proposal materials.Develop project layouts.Perform slope analysis and earthworks estimation.Carry out project cost estimation and quantity surveying.Potential ResponsibilitiesAnalysis and Interpretation of Geotechnical Reports.Design and calculation of solar trackers and fixed steel structures for PV plantsQualificationsMinimum of 2 years’ experience in proposals, structural, or mechanical engineering roles.Degree in Mechanical, Structural, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline.Strong command of English (B2 level or higher), with the ability to work and communicate effectively in an international environment.Additional languages such as Chinese, Portuguese, or German are a plus.Familiarity with Robot Structural Analysis, Auto CAD Civil 3 D, or VBA programming is an advantage.Technical Skills & ExperienceProficiency in 2 D technical design tools (e.g., Auto CAD).Experience with solar PV plant projects.Knowledge of international technical standards.Strong skills in office tools, particularly Excel and Word.Experience with 3 D design software (Solid Edge, Solid Works, etc.) is a plus.What We’re Looking ForA detail-oriented professional able to manage multiple tasks independently.Strong organizational skills and the ability to solve problems in dynamic project environments.A flexible mindset with a collaborative approach to cross-functional teamwork.An effective communicator who takes initiative and drives results.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Why Join Trina Solar?24 labor days of paid leave per year.Lunch vouchers.Private health insurance.Access to internal training and learning resources.Remote work possibilities and flexible hours.Intensive Fridays and free afternoons throughout July and August.A positive, diverse, and supportive work environment.Diversity & InclusionWe are committed to creating an inclusive workplace that celebrates diversity in all its forms.
