Vacancy : Research Technician (1 position)
Working hours : Full-time, 37.5 hours per week (35 hours in summer). Facilities for family-life balance.
Contract duration : Temporary contract until the end date of the Healthy W8 project funded by Horizon Europe, with the project ending on 30 / 04 / 2028.
Gross annual salary : 32.146,07€ with category T2.
Responsibilities
Support the coordination and implementation of activities within the HW8 project.
Prepare and contribute to project deliverables, including reports, presentations, and scientific outputs.
Assist in the organization and documentation of project meetings, workshops, and events.
Monitor and follow up on assigned project tasks to ensure timely completion.
Contribute to the drafting and editing of manuscripts, conference papers, and dissemination materials.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent qualification) in Agricultural Sciences, Food Science, Economics, Biology, or a related field.
Prior experience in research assistance, including data collection, fieldwork, or project support, will be valued.
Experience contributing to scientific publications, preferably in peer-reviewed or high-impact journals.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and data analysis software (e.g., Excel, SPSS, SmartPLS, R, or similar).
Strong command of English (spoken and written); knowledge of Spanish and / or Catalan will be considered an asset.
Willingness and availability to travel for project-related activities, if required.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Attention to detail and accuracy in handling data and documentation.
Ability to work independently as well as in a team-oriented environment.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Problem-solving mindset and adaptability to changing project needs.
