2025_110 BASIC LEVEL LABORATORY TECHNICIAN Permanent employee, Full-time
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES The tasks to be carried out are those of a technician in the context of a scientific-technological platform.
Technical activities : sample reception; DNA and RNA extraction; QC of nucleic acids; use and configuration of genetic analyzers; configuration and use of liquid dispensing robots for quantification of differential gene expression with techniques based on the use of real-time qPCR and digital PCR; genetic analysis techniques (library preparation and sequencing).
Complementary activities : scientific-technological advice to users of the Platform; writing reports based on the analysis of the results of the different technologies.
Maintenance activities : periodic preventive maintenance of the equipment available on the platform and stock control of the laboratory material.
Training activities : attendance at the periodic technical seminars organized by the IGTP aimed at support technicians; presentation of scientific results at national meetings.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE Advanced Vocational Training Programme (FP2) in Clinical and Biomedical Laboratory or Biotechnological and Related Products.
Six months of experience (including internship) in research or in a clinical or biomedical laboratory.
Intermediate knowledge of read and written English for the interpretation / understanding of standardized work procedures.
Motivation for research, ability to learn and work independently and in a team.
Knowledge of applied molecular genetics, including NGS sequencing on various technological platforms, is valued.
Knowledge of computer resources associated with NGS sequencing and other basic bioinformatics tools is valued.
Ability to write and implement scientific protocols and write scientific reports is valued.
WHAT WE OFFER Indefinite contract (Science Law 14 / 2011).
Full-time contract.
Date of incorporation : October 13th, 2025.
Gross annual remuneration will be fixed based on experience and skills, distributed in 12 payments.
