Overview We are seeking a skilled and customer-focused IT Support Specialist to join our IT team. The ideal candidate will provide technical assistance and support for incoming queries and issues related to computer systems, software, hardware, and networks. The IT Support Specialist will be the first point of contact for users and must have strong troubleshooting skills and a passion for resolving technical issues efficiently.
Responsibilities Respond to IT support tickets via phone, email, or in-person.
Install, configure, and maintain software and hardware (desktops, laptops, printers, etc.).
Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues.
Set up and manage user accounts, permissions, and passwords (Active Directory).
Support remote employees via remote access tools (e.g., TeamViewer, AnyDesk, RDP).
Perform routine system maintenance and updates.
Ensure proper documentation of issues and resolutions in the helpdesk system.
Collaborate with other IT team members on larger projects.
Monitor IT assets and assist with inventory management.
Provide support for network and connectivity issues (Wi-Fi, VPN, LAN, etc.).
Maintain data security and compliance with company policies.
