Global IT Security Leader

Seeking an experienced IT security professional to lead and support security and compliance efforts across a complex international IT infrastructure.

This role offers the opportunity to shape long-term security strategies and manage risk across a global enterprise, based in Madrid with hybrid working flexibility.

  • Risk Management : Conduct thorough risk assessments, ensure compliance exemptions, and support audits and evidence collection.
  • Security Operations : Lead vulnerability management, patch management, and network security operations, including firewalls, IDS / IPS, WAF, and proxies.
  • Project Support : Review and approve security aspects of IT changes and projects,

ensuring alignment with global standards.

  • Incident Response : Provide expert support for major security incidents and forensic investigations.

    • To succeed in this role, you will require :

  • 10+ years of experience in IT security and operational / compliance roles.
  • Strong technical knowledge across IT services, infrastructure, and cloud environments.
  • Proven experience with risk management, audits, and implementing security frameworks (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR).
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CISA, CCSP, CEH) are highly desirable.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
