Job Title : Senior Rare Diseases Specialist

This role requires an experienced professional with a strong clinical understanding of rare disease pathology, treatment landscape, and care models.

We are seeking a highly motivated individual to join our team as a Senior Rare Diseases Specialist. In this position, you will be responsible for engaging with key opinion leaders (KOLs), rare disease specialists, and patient advocacy groups to gather insights and support internal strategy.

The ideal candidate will have prior experience in the pharmaceutical / biotech industry, specifically in medical affairs or a related field. A strong background in investigator-led research and clinical trial processes is essential for success in this role.

You will also be expected to maintain up-to-date knowledge in rare disease biology, emerging therapies, and relevant clinical data. This includes delivering internal briefings, congress summaries, and supporting the review of scientific content across functions.

The successful candidate will have excellent scientific communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with a strategic mindset and ability to drive collaboration. Fluency in Spanish and English is required, as well as a willingness to travel extensively throughout Spain.

Key Responsibilities :

• Build and maintain relationships with KOLs, rare disease specialists, and patient advocacy groups
• Capture and share actionable insights from the field regarding treatment practices, access barriers, and patient journeys
• Support cross-functional teams to inform medical planning, clinical development, and market access strategy
