Job Description As the face of Hotelbeds to our suppliers, you will develop strong relationships with our suppliers for a defined portfolio of hotels within a specific geographic area.
Responsibilities Lead the contracting process with our clients in both B2B and B2C environments, focusing on signing the most competitive rates for Hotelbeds.
Negotiate contract renewal conditions such as rates, inventory, offers, release periods, marketing contributions, overrides, and cancellation policies.
Monitor the performance of each hotel, working closely with the Yield Manager to ensure competitiveness and availability.
Act as the primary face-to-face contact for accommodation supplier vendors and maintain excellent relationships.
Support the resolution of major supplier or client complaints, negotiating suitable solutions to maintain good service and positive relationships.
Ensure suppliers understand Hotelbeds' value proposition and marketing tools to optimize each hotel's income.
Qualifications To perform this job successfully, the individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and / or ability required :
Excellent analytical skills
Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills
Ability to work independently with discretionary judgment
Proficiency in computer skills, especially Excel
Experience working with upper management
Good communication and presentation skills
Determination and a proactive attitude
Proven track record of obtaining results
Excellent knowledge of the destination and local suppliers, with at least two years of experience in the area
Education and Experience High School Diploma or GED required
Minimum associate’s degree and / or 2-3 years related experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience
Language Skills Ability to read and understand instructions, correspondence, and memos
Ability to write simple correspondence
Ability to effectively present information to individuals and groups
