Who are we looking for?

We are actively looking for a Satellite Operations Engineer or similar to contribute to the day-to-day operations of satellites, ensuring the successful management of operational alerts, and maintaining comprehensive reporting on the status of satellites and the ground station network.You will be able to participate in the different steps of the development cycle for all our internal hardware developments in ground, space and user segments.

Responsibilities : Develop and maintain real-time, mission-critical software solutions for satellite operationsWrite scripts to aggregate satellite data and generate system monitoring metricsAnalyze data to identify issues and inefficiencies in the full stack of services and propose solutions to improve productivityDrive improvements to fleet capacity and productivity through process enhancementsMonitor satellite health and perform on-orbit experiments Profile : Degree in Aerospace Engineering, Telecom Engineering, Computer Science or similarProficiency in software development, particularly in Python or equivalent languagesData-driven mindset with experience in statistical analysisProactive, self-starter approach to engineering and problem-solvingEffective interpersonal and collaboration skills within a technical teamFull professional proficiency in English.Preferably : Educational Master levelFamiliarity with satellite engineering and / or the space environment and its challengesExperience with Bash and LinuxHands-on experience operating spacecraft or remote systemsFamiliarity with automation and optimization tools Why FOSSA?
