Overview
We are looking for a Predoctoral medical researcher for an educational project on endocrine-disrupting chemical (EDC) exposure in school settings.
Responsibilities
- Producing and reviewing scientific literature related to the study topic.
- Reviewing and validating the information materials provided to parents and guardians.
- Conducting educational workshops in participating schools.
- Responding to questions from families in a professional and accessible manner.
- Performing anthropometric measurements on participants.
- Analyzing data collected through questionnaires from families and schools.
- Participating in regular research team meetings.
- Contributing to the preparation and dissemination of scientific publications based on study results.
Qualifications and Experience
Required level of education : Bachelor’s degree in Medicine with specific knowledge in paediatrics and basic knowledge in pharmacology or pharmacy; proficiency in French and English both spoken and written; and specific knowledge in Medicine with exposure to environmental pediatrics and basic pharmacy.Personal skills : Empathetic and communicative with strong adaptability to school environments; experienced in teamwork; responsible and proactive in organizing educational activities; committed to confidentiality, respectful interaction, and children’s well-being.Required experience : working with children in the healthcare field with the ability to communicate professionally and clearly with families from a medical perspective; a strong understanding of child growth and development; and experience presenting scientific work at conferences.Specific requirements established by the call or grant to ensure equal opportunities; these criteria are based on justified study profile needs and shall not be considered discriminatory.Studies or knowledge not required but valuable : skills in science communication aimed at the community, particularly the ability to convey technical content clearly, accessibly, and tailored to diverse audiences.What We Offer

About Us
The Germans Trias i Pujol Research Institute (IGTP) is a public research centre located in Badalona. Its main objective is to increase scientific knowledge to transform it into solutions that improve health and medical care for patients and the community. The Institute is associated with the Germans Trias i Pujol Hospital and is part of the Can Ruti biomedical campus. IGTP is a CERCA centre, accredited as a centre of excellence by Instituto de Salud Carlos III (ISCIII), and coordinates the management and scientific strategy of the campus in collaboration with other centres.
