Project Coordinator for Election Support

Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Coordinator to support the implementation of an election observation project. The coordinator will be responsible for assisting the project director in managing the project's logistics, ensuring timely completion of tasks, and maintaining effective communication with team members.

The overall objective of this assignment is to strengthen democratisation, good governance, and conflict prevention, while contributing to reducing the possibility of fraud, manipulation, intimidation that could undermine the electoral processes.

The coordinator will play a key role in improving the legal framework and conduct of future elections, as well as public confidence in institutions. Additionally, they will inform European institutions on the conduct of elections in selected third countries.

Duration : The intended start date is 1 January 2026, and the period of implementation of the contract will be 48 months from this date.

This is a non-key expert position based in Europe.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Degree or equivalent training / experience in project management or a related field.
• Proficiency in English and EU EOM working language (C1).
• EU institutions knowledge is an asset.
