Overview

Job Description : A position of Thermo-Mechanical Engineer for Flight Units Assemblies is now open in Airbus CRISA (Airbus Defense & Space) in Tres Cantos (Madrid area) for different Space business : Launchers, Earth Exploration (Copernicus), Space Exploration (Artemis), Commercial (Telecommunications Satellites).

Responsibilities

• Support to the Technical Manager or Project Physical Design Responsible for the analysis of project requirements.
• Mechanical and Thermal Architecture analysis and design at module and unit level to assure the robustness of the design in the complete mission scenarios (compatible with mechanical loads, temperature range, radiation shielding...).
• Documentation of the design and analysis.
• Support to the Technical Manager or Project Physical Design Responsible in the main project reviews (Requirement Review, Preliminary and Architecture Review, Critical Design Review...)
• Support to Test Team for the acceptance of flight equipment, ensuring a close monitoring of any change, evolution or discrepancy from the agreed baseline in the characterization phase.
• Support to the Technical Manager or Project Physical Design Responsible in the resolution of NCRs (Non-conformance) raised during qualification or acceptance test campaign.
