Reporting to the Global Digital Marketing Manager, you will be instrumental in shaping and executing our worldwide search engine optimization strategy. You will leverage your deep understanding of content, technical SEO, and international SEO best practices to enhance our online visibility, attract qualified traffic, and achieve our business objectives across all regions. This role requires strong analytical skills, a proactive approach, and the ability to effectively collaborate with regional marketing and content teams.
Responsibilities Develop and Implement Global SEO Strategy : Create and execute a comprehensive global SEO strategy aligned with business goals, considering regional nuances and search landscape variations.
Content SEO Leadership : Provide strategic guidance and best practices for content creation and optimization across all regions, ensuring content is discoverable, engaging, and aligned with target keywords and user intent in local languages.
Technical SEO Oversight : Conduct thorough technical SEO audits across all websites and platforms, identifying and recommending solutions to improve site architecture, crawlability, indexability, site speed, mobile-friendliness, and overall technical health on a global scale.
Keyword Research and Targeting : Conduct in-depth keyword research, considering multilingual and multi-regional targeting, to identify high-potential search terms and inform content strategy.
Performance Monitoring and Analysis : Continuously monitor and analyze global SEO performance using relevant tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Google Search Console, third-party SEO platforms), identifying trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
Collaboration with Regional Teams : Work closely and collaboratively with regional marketing teams, content creators, and web development teams to ensure consistent implementation of global SEO strategies and share best practices.
International SEO Expertise : Apply in-depth knowledge of international SEO best practices, including hreflang implementation, localization strategies, and understanding search engine algorithms in different regions.
Staying Current with Industry Trends : Keep abreast of the latest SEO trends, algorithm updates, and emerging technologies, proactively identifying opportunities and recommending innovative approaches.
Reporting and Communication : Prepare and present regular reports on global SEO performance, highlighting key metrics, progress against goals, and actionable insights to stakeholders.
Competitive Analysis : Conduct regular competitive analysis to identify opportunities and understand industry best practices on a global level.
This role can be based in either of the following locations :
Compensation will be determined based on the candidate’s geographic location, professional background, and relevant experience.
Qualifications Bachelor\'s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field.
Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive experience in SEO, with a strong focus on global or international SEO.
Proven track record of developing and implementing successful SEO strategies that drive measurable results in multiple markets.
Deep understanding of content SEO principles and best practices for multilingual content.
Strong technical SEO skills, including experience with website audits, schema markup, site architecture, and performance optimization.
Proficiency in using SEO tools and platforms (e.g., Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, Moz).
Experience with international SEO tools and considerations (e.g., hreflang tags, international targeting).
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret data and translate it into actionable insights.
Strong communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional and international teams.
Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Familiarity with content management systems (CMS).
Experience with localization processes and working with translation teams is a plus.
Fluency in one or more languages in addition to English is a plus.
