Senior Innovation Engineer

The Senior IBM-AIX Engineer is responsible for driving technical service resolution and This position is responsible for providing systems engineering support for Company clients in 24X7 service organization. The principal duties and responsibilities of the Senior Systems Engineer are : To act as a lead customer issue resolution engineer and take ownership of all assigned tickets. Should have experience in doing Knowledge Transitions and working as a customer lead and take ownership of all assigned Project work. Assisting the Project Manager by providing a technical project coordination role. Liaising with relevant support teams for all clients to ensure they are informed about relevant progress and issues relating to Unix server to be handed over for server management to ensure a smooth transition. Overall 8 to 12 years of Unix System Administration Experience out of which at least 7 Years should be in AIX environment. Strong experience in interfacing of external devices like Storage, Networking and backup devices Capability to plan and execute UNIX Security. Strong concepts of networking like TCP / IP Loading of software, Networking, TCP / IP, NFS, NIS & DNS.
