Job Overview
The core duties of the post are to identify, design and execute plans that help the company’s business grow as well as develop new products, services and lines of business to increase and sustain that growth.
Responsibilities and Duties
Handle inquiries, create and improve service proposals for our existing and new clients.
Responsible for initiating sales calls to prospective or current clients
Supervise accounts daily to retain existing relationships
Responsible for price and service negotiation with customers and carriers
Responsible for achieve sales goals to aid in achieving targets
Nurture new sales leads to secure business
Responsible for offering quotes to current and prospective clients
Responsible for supervising shipments until delivery completed to guarantee smooth operations and customer satisfaction
Build relationship and sell to clients through phone or one-on-one
Develop our EU agents network in assigned areas and targets.
Perform market research to identify new opportunities and engage with executives to establish strategies for pursuing those new opportunities.
Qualifications
~3+ years in freight forwarding industry or logistics related business
~ Air / Ocean Freight Import or Export experience in freight forwarding with leadership experience will be an advantage
~ Ability to work in a fast-paced and deadline-driven office environment
~ Knowledge of all Import / Export regulations and documents
~ Excellent verbal & written communication skills in Spanish, English and Chinese
~ Exceptional customer service and follow up skills
~ Great teamwork and communication skills, attend to details
~ The ability to travel to meet clients, attend conferences and research new markets as needed.
