About the Role The Senior Director, GPD Strategy and Marketing Lead, Dermatology offers a unique opportunity to shape Takeda's first commercial footprint in Dermatology. You will tailor the global brand strategy across the GPD region and co-create with LOC team members lead pre-launch non-promotional and post-launch promotional initiatives. This role is critical as Takeda enters the Psoriasis therapeutic area, helping to cultivate a culture of trust and excellence across internal teams and with external partners in a rapidly evolving market. You will report to the Head of GPD Strategy & Marketing Dermatology as part of the MCE team (Marketing & Commercial Excellence).
Responsibilities Lead the development and execution of the MCE tactical plan, tailoring global strategy and resources to EUCAN & GEM reality (e.g., patient profiling & segmentation, brand campaigns, messaging).
Provide strategic guidance and oversight for local brand planning processes, ensuring alignment with global strategy and effective LOC-level execution.
Provide expert strategic consultation during local launch activation workshops, sharing insights, best practices, and actionable recommendations; establish and maintain a strategic insights roadmap to drive continuous improvement.
Strategic Brand & Tactical Planning : lead MCE launch plans aligned to global strategy across Europe, Canada, and Emerging Markets to provide brand strategy and enable LOC franchise success.
Local Brand Plan Guidance & Process : oversee local brand planning, ensuring alignment with global strategy.
LOC launch support : provide strategic consultation during local activation workshops.
Insights, Strategic Insights Roadmap : establish and maintain a roadmap for insights to translate into action.
Insights & Patient Profiling : drive patient profiling to understand target populations and tailor engagement strategies; consolidate insights from LOCs and market research to shape strategy.
Launch Activation & Cross-Functional Support : provide strategic guidance for local launches, enable digital and traditional material adaptation, foster cross-functional collaboration, and share best practices.
Brand planning and execution excellence : develop understanding of market trends and competitive dynamics across psoriasis brands; tailor global brand strategies for EUCAN & GEM; guide local brand planning and co-creation; align priorities across LOCs / Regions.
Cross-regional leadership on Zasocitinib franchise strategies and execution; collaborate with global, regional, and LOCs to maximize brand performance.
Insights-for-Impact (I4I), Agency Ways of Working (AoR), Alignment and Process Optimization, Internal Communication & Community Engagement, Change Management : drive data-driven planning, modernize agency collaboration, streamline processes, and promote cross-functional information sharing.
Qualifications Proven dermatology commercial experience (psoriasis preferred) with understanding of therapeutic area, stakeholders, and market dynamics.
Knowledge of global healthcare markets (Europe, Canada, Asia, South America, Australia) and ability to adapt strategies to diverse local needs.
Experience building trusted partnerships with external stakeholders and translating customer insights into innovative solutions.
Launch experience at LOC, regional, and global levels in Dermatology; familiarity with brand and franchise strategies and lifecycle management; ability to analyze data and generate actionable insights.
Digital and technology mindset : capability to embed AI-enabled approaches and digital biopharma transformation into strategy and execution.
Strong leadership, collaboration, and change-management skills; ability to navigate complex matrix organizations and align cross-functional teams.
