Product Manager Role Overview
We are seeking a skilled Product Manager to join our team and drive the development of innovative products. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and creative individual who wants to make a significant impact on our company's success.
The successful candidate will have experience in owning product features from conception to launch, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and setting ambitious goals on growth, adoption, and engagement. They will also be responsible for defining and achieving company success through strategic planning and day-to-day project execution.
- This role requires a strong understanding of user-centered design principles and the ability to translate vision into strategy.
- You will work closely with founders, leadership, engineering, sales, marketing, and customer success teams to develop and execute product roadmaps.
Key Responsibilities :
Owning product features from conception to launch, collaborating with leadership, design, engineering, sales, marketing, and customer success.Cross-functional collaboration, high-level strategic planning, and day-to-day project execution.Setting and achieving ambitious goals on growth, adoption, and engagement, helping define and achieve company success.What You Will Achieve in the First 3 Months :
Attend and graduate from our company-wide onboarding bootcamp.Shadow at least one customer interaction per week, understand how Lever users use the product.Meet with Engineering to learn about technology stack and building great product.Direct one-on-ones with other teams to understand their contributions to overall success.Participate in a fully-formed product development team taking a feature to market.Next Steps in the Next 6 Months :
Launch a product feature as primary owner, working with Leadership, Design, Engineering, Marketing, and Customer Success.Closing a key strategic deal with Sales, helping prospects map current and future needs to Lever's product offering and roadmap.Draft internal documentation on launch strategy for a new feature in collaboration with Marketing.Report on outcomes of one product launch, discussing how well goals and hypotheses were met, and what learnings to use in next launch.Long-Term Objectives :
Establish, track, and report progress on product metrics and KPIs for leadership and entire company.Contribute deep product knowledge during product roadmap and strategy discussions.Making critical product decisions optimizing for Lever's best interest against multiple stakeholders' concerns.Perform metric-based analysis on product area to inform product design and roadmap decisions.Advocate / defend Product Org views, educating, mentoring, and training team members across company on product methodology and philosophy.
