Senior Manager, Planning Management

At E-Frontiers we're on the lookout for a SRE Senior Manager to join a growing product company based in several European regions, with heardquarters in Switzerland. As part of their team, you'll be in charge of all SRE and Infrastructure related issues, working closely with engineering directors.

Lead all operational and Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) functions, including proactive monitoring and incident response.

Oversee capacity planning and drive change management initiatives.

Implement automation for platform service delivery and operations using infrastructure-as-code and monitoring-as-code methodologies.

Responsible for ensuring service availability, performance, and scalability in production environments, aligned with business-defined SLAs.

Maintain system uptime through proactive alerting, continuous dashboard monitoring, and comprehensive incident playbooks.

Work collaboratively with application and business stakeholders to deliver high-quality, production-ready solutions.

Own compliance initiatives and manage audit readiness, including evidence collection for regulated deployments.

Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing cloud engineering and SRE team.

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent professional experience.

~ Over 10 years of leadership experience in cloud operations engineering within SaaS environments.

~5+ years in senior management roles, overseeing large-scale Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) and Cloud Operations teams.

~ Extensive hands-on expertise with one or more major Cloud Service Providers, managing native cloud technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes, Istio, and Kafka at scale.

~ Proficient with modern CI / CD and infrastructure automation tools, including Jenkins, Ansible, Terraform, and related technologies.

~ Proven track record in designing, scaling, and monitoring infrastructure to support SaaS applications and services. Skilled in using APM and infrastructure monitoring tools such as Datadog, New Relic, Sumo Logic, Splunk, and Dynatrace.

~ Led 24 / 7 on-call operations teams supporting global customer bases.

~ Strong interpersonal, leadership, and communication skills, with fluency in English.

~ Solid understanding of lean and agile software development and operational best practices.
