Offer Description Responsibilities

The selected candidate will contribute to the successful progress of the project investigating the role of mitochondria-associated ER membranes in microglia activity and their implications in Alzheimer’s disease by performing tasks including :

Preparation and maintenance of primary microglia cultures .

Maintenance, handling, and genotyping of mouse colonies within the research group.

Preparation of monocyte-derived cultures from blood donors.

Administrative management of ethical approvals and requirements related to the project.

Support in experimental procedures associated with the project, such as : Image analysis using microscopy.

Analysis of inflammatory mediators by qPCR and ELISA .

Protein analysis by Western blot .

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Biochemistry .

Previous experience with cell culture techniques and / or mouse colony management is highly desirable.

Familiarity with molecular biology methods (qPCR, ELISA, Western blot) will be considered an asset.

Strong organizational skills and ability to handle administrative and ethical documentation .

Motivation to work in a multidisciplinary research team .
