Overview : The Senior People Relations Partner provides compliant consultation to HR Business Partners, leaders, and managers to resolve team member conflicts, facilitate disciplinary actions, and process terminations. This role conducts investigations and ensures issues are resolved in adherence with laws, company policies, and procedures, partnering with management and HR Business Partners. The role acts as a compliance specialist between Legal and HR to process terminations for all worker types, minimizing liability and delivering respectful offboarding.
What You’ll Do
- Provide consistent, tactical team member relations consultation to managers and team members to resolve issues and advise on conflict resolution, disciplinary action, and / or termination in compliance with local, state, federal, and international laws
- Own and manage terminations for all worker types, including handoff of disciplinary and performance issues to achieve involuntary terminations or voluntary resignations
- Oversee offboarding processes, initiating workflows and form triggers to fully process all termination types
- Serve as the involuntary termination expert to ensure compliant terminations across countries and worker types, including negotiations, notifications, and documentation
- Conduct HR-related investigations and provide management and HR Business Partners with recommendations
- Analyze data to monitor team member relations trends and aid proactive management
- Collaborate with Legal, People Operations, HR Experience, Payroll, HR Business Partners, and People Success to deliver compliant conflict resolution and terminations
- Oversee Jira and other tools for compliance reporting related to team member relations issues, investigations, and terminations
- Create and manage standard operating procedures for investigations ensuring fair, neutral, and timely investigations in line with laws and policies
- Partner with People Success to train managers on handling team member relations matters and compliant termination guidance
