As part of their continued growth, they are seeking a
Technical Project Leader
to take ownership of complex engineering programmes, guiding projects from concept through to production while bridging the gap between technical teams, manufacturing, and customers.
The Opportunity
This is a senior-level role offering full visibility across both the technical and commercial dimensions of advanced energy projects. You’ll lead multi-disciplinary teams to deliver high-performance battery systems that meet stringent performance, safety, and quality standards.
You’ll operate in a fast-paced environment that values technical depth, structured project delivery, and hands-on leadership.
Key Responsibilities
Lead battery system projects from initial concept through design, validation, and production.
Translate customer and programme requirements into robust, manufacturable engineering solutions.
Manage technical risks across safety, performance, and quality dimensions.
Coordinate design, analysis, and manufacturing functions to ensure project success.
Act as the key technical interface for customers and senior stakeholders.
Provide cross-functional leadership across mechanical, electrical, and software domains.
Essential Skills and Experience
Proven experience leading
battery system development
projects through full lifecycle stages.
Background in
energy storage, electrification, or propulsion systems
Multi-disciplinary understanding across electrical, mechanical, thermal, and systems engineering.
Strong knowledge of
battery architecture, optimisation, and reliability
principles.
Experience acting as the
technical point of contact
for customers or executive teams.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
