General Ledger Accountant ES - Barcelona, Spain

We are looking for a General Ledger Accountant to join our expanding Accountingteam based in our Barcelona hub. This role will support the day-to-day operations ofthe Accounting function while contributing to continuous improvement across alldepartmental processes.

What You’ll Do

• Perform monthly bank reconciliations and ensure timely resolution ofdiscrepancies
• Record general ledger entries in compliance with local and group accountingpolicies
• Assist with the month-end close and general ledger reconciliations, ensuringaccuracy and timely reporting
• Reconcile intercompany transactions
• Maintain the fixed assets register, including asset postings and monthlydepreciation
• Collaborate with the Accounts Payable, Procurement and T&E teams onreconciliations and discrepancy resolution
• Assist in the preparation and review of VAT returns
• Provide support during external and internal audits
• Partner with cross-functional teams to support business units with financial andaccounting insights
• Contribute to process improvement and automation initiatives and help withad-hoc projects
