Tech Lead (Full Stack Angular / NodeJS / Swift) Job Description

We are seeking a results-oriented, highly experienced and skilled software engineer to join our multi-disciplinary team adding new functionality to our successful insurance risk placing platform. You will possess many years of experience in designing, developing and maintaining high-performance, complex applications. Adept at leading the technical design of new features, you will write clean and efficient code, leveraging modern technologies to deliver scalable software solutions. Expertise in a variety of programming languages, frameworks, and development methodologies. Passionate about mentoring junior engineers and collaborating with stakeholders to drive innovation.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and deploy scalable and reliable software applications.
• Collaborate with analysts, designers, engineers and other stakeholders to lead the definition and delivery of high-quality features.
• Lead and contribute to architecture and system design decisions.
• Write clean, maintainable, secure and efficient code while following best practices and coding standards.
• Perform code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers and junior engineers.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize existing software systems.
• Identify opportunities for improvement in both technical and process aspects.
• Stay up to date with emerging technologies and industry trends, bringing new ideas to the team.
• Ensure software is designed with a focus on scalability, performance, and security.
• Mentor and support junior team members, helping them grow their skills.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of engineering processes, methodologies, and practices.
