Tech Lead (Full Stack Angular / NodeJS / Swift) Job Description We are seeking a results-oriented, highly experienced and skilled software engineer to join our multi-disciplinary team adding new functionality to our successful insurance risk placing platform. You will possess many years of experience in designing, developing and maintaining high-performance, complex applications. Adept at leading the technical design of new features, you will write clean and efficient code, leveraging modern technologies to deliver scalable software solutions. Expertise in a variety of programming languages, frameworks, and development methodologies. Passionate about mentoring junior engineers and collaborating with stakeholders to drive innovation.

Responsibilities Design, develop, test, and deploy scalable and reliable software applications.

Collaborate with analysts, designers, engineers and other stakeholders to lead the definition and delivery of high-quality features.

Lead and contribute to architecture and system design decisions.

Write clean, maintainable, secure and efficient code while following best practices and coding standards.

Perform code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers and junior engineers.

Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize existing software systems.

Identify opportunities for improvement in both technical and process aspects.

Stay up to date with emerging technologies and industry trends, bringing new ideas to the team.

Ensure software is designed with a focus on scalability, performance, and security.

Mentor and support junior team members, helping them grow their skills.

Contribute to the continuous improvement of engineering processes, methodologies, and practices.

Qualifications Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

Several years of professional software engineering experience.

Strong experience with software architecture, design patterns, and best practices.

Strong experience working with Angular Framework.

Strong experience working with NoSQL database platforms, preferably Couchbase (although other NoSQL platform experience considered).

Experience working with shell scripting and process automation

Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

Proven ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.

Experience in Agile development methodologies and tools (e.g., Jira, Git, CI / CD pipelines).

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Strong understanding of software testing and debugging techniques.

Experience with performance optimization, security best practices, and scalable system design is a plus.

Leadership experience and the ability to mentor junior engineers.
