Descripción del trabajo️ ¿What will be your challenges and responsibilities at Cheil? ¿What do we expect from you? End-to-End Data Science Workflow : Lead the full data science lifecycle — from data ingestion, wrangling, and modeling to insight generation and presentation. Data Infrastructure & Engineering Collaboration : Understand and map internal and external data sources, assessing data structure, accessibility, and quality. Build and maintain data pipelines using Spark (in Python or Scala) and orchestrate jobs with Airflow . Work with BigQuery and other GCP tools to manage cloud-based storage and processing efficiently. Monitor pipeline performance, data quality, and cloud cost optimization. Advanced Analytics & Statistical Modeling : Design and deploy models for predictive analytics (e.g., sales forecasting, customer segmentation, time-series analysis). Apply statistical methods to interpret business trends, quantify impact, and optimize decision-making. Evaluate and improve model accuracy and performance over time. Visualization, Dashboards & Reporting : Translate complex insights into clear, visually compelling dashboards using Looker Studio (preferred), Tableau , or Power BI . Build campaign and initiative-specific dashboards to support marketing, ecommerce, and strategic reporting needs. Present data stories and recommendations to business stakeholders, including non-technical audiences. Tooling & Development Environment : Work in modern development environments with version control (Git) and collaborative workflow tools. Develop and document scalable, reusable code and data models using tools like Python , SQL , and Spark . Understand and apply best practices in cloud computing , IAM , and task orchestration . Cross-functional Collaboration & Business Alignment : Partner with ecommerce, marketing, CRM, and product teams to define analytical goals and translate them into data solutions. Ensure alignment between data projects and business KPIs, proactively identifying high-impact use cases. Drive data literacy within the team by sharing documentation, code, and insights with other departments. Strategic Data Planning : Identify “quick win” opportunities to demonstrate data science impact in the short term. Help define initial OKRs for the Data Science function and participate in roadmap discussions for long-term initiatives. Stay up to date with industry best practices and emerging technologies to continuously elevate our data maturity. ️ Requirements : 3–5 years of experience in Data Science, Predictive Modeling, or Advanced Analytics, ideally in ecommerce , digital marketing , or agency environments . Strong expertise in Python (Pandas, NumPy, scikit-learn, etc.) and SQL (preferably with BigQuery ). Proven experience building and deploying data models for segmentation, forecasting, and pattern detection. Experience designing and maintaining data pipelines with Spark (in Python or Scala). Knowledge of task orchestration tools like Airflow and version control systems like Git . Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (preferably Google Cloud Platform ) for data storage, processing, and compute scalability. Strong understanding of relational and non-relational databases , and ability to optimize data extraction and queries. Experience building interactive dashboards and reporting tools with Looker Studio , Tableau , or Power BI . Understanding of data quality , governance , and cost monitoring in cloud architectures. Ability to communicate complex technical outputs to non-technical stakeholders with clarity and structure. ️ We would like you to bring together attitudes that have to do with... - ️ Your role at Cheil : Data Scientist
We are seeking a Data Scientist with strong expertise in building predictive models, performing advanced statistical analysis, and generating actionable insights to support ecommerce growth. The ideal candidate will be highly proficient in data science methodologies and comfortable working across the full data lifecycle — from engineering pipelines to delivering strategic recommendations through data storytelling. This role requires experience with cloud platforms , advanced analytics tools , and the ability to translate business needs into data-driven solutions.

🕛Timetable from Monday to Thursday from 09.00-18.15 and Fridays from 09.00-15.00. July and August, we have an intensive working day, Monday to Friday from 8 : 00 - 15 : 00.
