Senior Mobile Developer (remote)

We’re seeking Senior Software Engineers with fresh ideas and a passion for pushing the boundaries of what’s possible in payments technology. You will work within a division focused on exploring cutting-edge ideas, technologies, and developing products that shape the future of payments. You’ll drive innovation and lead mission-critical projects that impact our global customer base.

Design and maintain robust Android solutions, ensuring maintainability and performance.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver impactful solutions, including product management, engineering, and design.

Lead the design and implementation of loosely coupled, scalable systems within a microservices architecture.

Use a modern tech stack (such as TypeScript, Python, and Java), ensuring best practices in software development, testing, and deployment.

Leverage mobile technologies (such as Kotlin, or Hybrid frameworks) to build performant mobile applications.

Take ownership of web and mobile application design, including state management solutions (such as Redux, MobX, or Vuex).

Operate and maintain mission-critical systems focusing on high availability, resilience, and service quality.

Stay informed of the latest trends in cloud infrastructure (e.g., AWS, GCP, Kubernetes) and continuously advocate for improvements.

Write clean, maintainable, and testable code while adhering to agile methodologies and continuous integration / continuous delivery (CI / CD) pipelines.

Mentor junior engineers, providing guidance on software development best practices, code quality, and technical problem-solving.

Participate in the entire product lifecycle from discovery and concept to solution development, deployment, and ongoing optimisation.
