Overview
Job Description : The Procurement Contracting Advisor role involves participating in the preparation of new procurement packages to meet specific market needs.
The role includes improving procurement contracting standards, aligning them with current market requirements by monitoring and analyzing amendments, modifications, and deviations from project procurement contracting conditions in coordination with involved departments. It also supports other procurement departments in implementing procurement contracting conditions by aligning them with their procedures. The successful candidate will facilitate understanding with the Legal Department and other disciplines related to contractual matters, and will prepare and revise corporate agreement conditions related to the Procurement area. Training on contracting conditions and advising on general doubts related to contractual matters are also essential aspects of the job.
The ideal candidate should have a Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a similar field, with a Master’s in Law being desirable. A minimum of 5–7 years of experience in contract management is required, as well as experience in drafting and negotiating contracts, making contractual back-to-back arrangements, and advanced knowledge of MS Office. Proficiency in written and spoken English and Spanish is essential, along with strong problem-solving, leadership, and influencing skills.
