Overview

We are looking for our new Senior Account Executive to join Axway's family. You would be joining the Sales Team in our Madrid office and representing Axway, a global software company and market leader in governing the flows of data.

Responsibilities

  • Direct New Business sales and Account Management responsibility for the Spain Territory.
  • Execute and overachieve quarterly revenue and bookings targets.
  • Work with the sales management team to establish direct sales through a strategic territory plan and additional market development strategies for the defined territory accounts.
  • Develop and coordinate strategic activities with clients to further develop the business relationship.
  • Together with management, build strategic partnerships with local SI companies to further establish Axway's penetration within specific verticals.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop campaigns and programs to build pipeline.
  • Build and drive new sales pipelines across designated verticals and / or territories to meet agreed targets.

Qualifications

  • At least 5 years of experience in on-premise and Cloud / SaaS based software solutions sales, ERP and business application, and / or Middleware sector, as Direct Sales Executive in Spain.
  • Good relationships and contacts in very large accounts in Spain.
  • Hunter mentality, always willing to extend footprint and grow revenue.
  • Expert at achieving revenue goals with a rigor based on measurable and ambitious indicators.
  • Strong, dynamic, determined, and customer-oriented personality with power of endurance.
  • Ability to work as a sales leader to motivate and engage Axway presales, services, marketing, partner, and support teams in customer projects.
  • Enjoy working in trust and autonomy with a high-level sense of ethics and responsibility.
  • Fluent in Spanish and English.
  • Degree level or equivalent : Master in business administration, Engineering, Business Informatics or similar.
  • Ready to travel when required (not very usual, but for trainings at Axway Corp or visits out of Madrid).
