Job Description
As a key member of our Solution Engineering team, you will provide technical leadership throughout the sales process and drive the technical win. This dynamic role is customer-facing, and you will have the opportunity to shape and deliver on our overall sales and delivery strategy for IT spend optimization solutions.
As a Solution Engineer Manager, you will lead a talented team of presales specialists across EMEA, reporting into the Vice President of EMEA Solution Engineering. You will partner with major account managers and sales RVPs to collaborate on revenue-generating strategies and opportunities, hitting sales targets while ensuring the presales team is trained and equipped to deliver exceptional performance in their day-to-day activities.
Main Responsibilities :
Lead a high-performing team of presales specialists
Develop and implement training programs to ensure the team's success
Recruit, develop, and retain top talent
Inspire and motivate the team to achieve high employee engagement and loyalty
Drive individual and team performance through goal setting and regular reviews
Collaborate with sales teams to create technical win plans and drive sales targets
Implement productivity initiatives such as knowledge sharing and IP reuse
Ensure continuous development of team members' technical and soft skills
Required Skills and Qualifications
Strong track record of meeting and exceeding goals
Solution-selling approach with a strong technical background
Previous management experience of building, developing, and leading multi-cultural presales teams
Technical expertise in public cloud technology, cloud architecture, and cloud native services
Strong leadership competencies and communication skills
Ability to travel up to 50% of the time
