Job Overview

The Associate Medical Director / Medical Director will provide medical, clinical, and scientific advisory expertise across IQVIA divisions. Responsibilities include participating in all aspects of Medical Science involvement on assigned trials, serving as a medical expert during project delivery, and providing therapeutic and medical expertise for business development activities.

Essential Functions

• Medical Monitoring :
• Serve as Global Medical Advisor on assigned projects.
• Guide Project Leaders on medical and scientific aspects of projects.
• Support investigative sites and project staff with protocol-related issues, including protocol clarifications, patient safety, and eligibility.
• Review protocols, Investigative Drug Brochures, and Case Report Forms.
• Provide therapeutic area training for the clinical team.
• Present at Investigator Meetings.
• Review and clarify trial-related Adverse Events.
• Collaborate with Pharmacovigilance on serious adverse events and similar event analyses.
• Review adverse event coding and clinical study reports.
• Participate in meetings as needed.
• Be available 24 / 7 for urgent protocol-related issues, with potential travel requirements.
