AMC Networks International Southern Europe (AMCNISE) is one of the most important companies in the audiovisual industry in Spain and Portugal. It produces and distributes 30 television channels and streaming services designed for all types of audiences.

AMCNISE belongs to AMC Networks International, the global division of AMC Networks, creator of original franchises such as The Walking Dead Universe or Anne Rice's Immortal Universe.

In Spain, it produces and distributes 14 channels in the film, series, factual, documentary and lifestyle segments. In addition, the company has five streaming services.

In Portugal, the company operates five channels, the AMC SELEKT streaming service and, in addition, produces through DREAMIA, a company 50% owned by AMCNISE and the operator NOS, six other channels and a streaming platform.

HEAD OF FINANCE

To lead and coordinate the financial and administrative activities of BU, in accordance with the company's policies, the guidelines of the Managing Director and SVP International Finance & Strategic to establish the appropriate financial structure for the development of its activities, as well as to guarantee the preparation and management of the information necessary for decision-making. international Finance group across multiple geographies and jurisdictions.

Strategic Finance Leadership : Acts as a key business partner to regional leadership, shaping strategy and providing data-driven financial insights to support decision-making in commercial area and market growth across Spain and Portugal.

Finance Transformation Champion : Leads the transition of finance operations (accounting, AP / AR) to a shared service model, ensuring seamless process migration, documentation, and operational continuity.

Technical Finance Expertise : Brings deep knowledge in accounting, tax, compliance, internal audit, transfer pricing, and FP&A, with a strong command of local statutory requirements and SOX compliance

Insights & Analytics Development : Builds and mentors a high-performing analytics team to deliver actionable insights, advanced financial modeling, and performance reporting aligned with business objectives

Operational Excellence & Cost Management : Drives cost efficiency and Capex management through robust planning, variance analysis, and alignment of cost drivers with business scale and strategy

Cross-functional Collaboration : Partners effectively with global and regional teams, aligning financial forecasts and metrics, and ensuring consistent communication with auditors, banks, and financial authorities.

Leadership & Team Development : Leads and develops a regional finance team, fostering a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement.

JOB REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS :

MINIMUM EDUCATION

Finance Degree or Equivalent recognized qualification in Finance

Degree / Masters in Finance / Business

LANGUAGE

Excellent command of spoken and written English

REQUIRED LICENSES / CERTIFICATIONS

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

More than 6-8 years Leading and managing a local finance function

OTHER REQUIREMENTS

Leading a Local Finance function within media / telco / streaming sector. Experience with matrix organizations and shared services is required.
