We’re working with a global data centre developer to appoint a Head of Construction to lead the delivery of major projects across Spain.

This is a senior, hands‑on leadership role, ideal for someone who’s already operating at Head of Construction level and has taken full ownership of large‑scale data centre builds.

About You You’re someone who takes full accountability for delivery, from design coordination and procurement right through to commissioning. You’ve led multi‑MW data centre or complex industrial projects, managing teams, budgets, and contractors while keeping safety, quality, and schedule on track.

You lead by example, visible on site, pragmatic in your approach, and trusted by the people around you. You’re structured and process‑driven but adaptable enough to work in fast‑moving environments. You hold people accountable, communicate clearly, and build teams that perform.

Fluent English is essential, and strong Spanish is preferred. You’re confident managing international stakeholders and have ideally worked with hyperscale or multinational developers before.

Responsibilities

Lead full project delivery across multiple sites in Spain, from concept to completion.

Oversee budgets, schedules, contractors, and performance metrics to ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget.

Build and guide multidisciplinary teams while maintaining strong relationships with contractors and consultants.

Drive a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and operational excellence.

Ensure compliance with Spanish and EU regulations while aligning to global delivery standards.

Ideal Background You’ve already delivered multiple €50M+ projects, ideally in the data centre, industrial, or mission‑critical sector.

You understand the balance between strategic oversight and day‑to‑day delivery. You can navigate design, engineering, and construction challenges while maintaining composure under pressure.

You take pride in projects that run smoothly because the planning, communication, and leadership behind them are solid.
