Senior Backend Developer Javascript

That is why HBX Group has launched with Civitfun, a SaaS (Software as a Service) brand that offers a complete suite to automate the guest journey, from check-in to check-out, in hotels, hotel chains, resorts, vacation rentals and hostels.

We are seeking for our CivitFun Brand a senior Backend Engineer to develop key functionalities for our SaaS platform focused on the hospitality sector, including integrations with external systems (PMS, payment methods, locks), architectural design, and deployment of new solutions in a cloud environment. This is an end to end opportunity from architecture design to deployment.

Design, develop and maintain secure backend services using Node.js.

Collaborate on front end development using React, especially for admin dashboards and user facing flows.

Lead technical decisions around architecture, database design, and deployment

Contribute to CI / CD setup, testing and code quality initiatives

5+years experience in backend development, primarily with Node.js

~ Solid hands on experience with React.js, including hooks and modern front end patterns

~ Proficiency with databases (MongoDB, Redis) SQL and NoSQL

~ Cloud experience with AWS

~ Experience with CI / CD setup, testing and code quality initiatives

~ Experience working with the Agile Scrum methodology

~ English and Spanish languages are a requirement
