About the Company

Our client is redefining the EV two-wheeler landscape with Light Utility Vehicles (LUVs) : a new category that combines everyday cargo capacity, customizability, and design excellence. The focus is not limited to existing moped or motorcycle riders – the ambition is to expand the market to urban professionals, families, and businesses who value practicality without compromise.

This is a rare opportunity to build an entire marketing operation from scratch. From setting up the tech stack and growth engine to shaping how the first customers are reached, this role will contribute directly to launching a new vehicle category and transforming urban mobility.

By 2030, the company targets 80,000+ vehicles on the road and €360M+ in revenue.

The Role

As the first E-commerce Growth Manager — and the first hire beyond the executive team — this person will build and run the direct-to-consumer (DTC) sales engine from zero. Over time, the role can evolve into Head of DTC, with the opportunity to recruit and shape a dedicated team as the organization scales.

This is a 0→1 role : the selected candidate will set up everything from scratch, including the e-commerce platform, growth stack, performance marketing, CRM, and analytics. Working closely with the CCO and CEO, they will help define product–market fit, attract the first customers, and establish the playbook for scaling across Europe.

It offers high autonomy, high impact, and the chance to leave a mark on the launch of a premium mobility brand.

Focus in the First 12–18 Months

E-commerce setup & operations

  • Select, implement, and manage the webshop platform (Shopify or equivalent).
  • Build customer journeys, optimize product pages and checkout flows.
  • Own analytics and reporting dashboards for conversion and funnel KPIs.

Performance marketing

  • Launch and optimize campaigns across Meta, Google, and other paid channels.
  • Test and iterate creative, audiences, and channels to reduce CAC.
  • Manage budgets and report transparently on ROI.
  • CRM & retention

  • Set up lifecycle flows (welcome, nurture, post-purchase, referral).
  • Manage newsletters, customer communication, and community activations.
  • Track LTV, loyalty, and reactivation metrics.
  • Go-to-market execution

  • Drive digital acquisition for city launches.
  • Coordinate with Marketing / Brand for assets and storytelling.
  • Collaborate with CX for a seamless handover post-purchase.
  • Tech stack & partnerships

  • Define and implement the full DTC tech stack (Shopify, Klaviyo, GA4, attribution).
  • Test partnerships, ambassador programs, and referral mechanics to accelerate growth.
  • Candidate Profile

  • 5–7 years of experience in e-commerce and performance marketing.
  • Hands-on expertise with Shopify (or equivalent) and campaign management tools.
  • Proven track record of driving online growth with limited budgets.
  • Analytical mindset : fluent in GA4, attribution, dashboards.
  • Excellent English; Spanish or Italian is a strong plus.
  • Nice-to-haves

  • Experience founding or running a company, with early-stage setup exposure.
  • Strong opinions on preferred DTC tech stacks, based on hands-on experience.
  • Background in premium consumer brands, mobility, or lifestyle.
  • Curiosity and interest in the broader DTC organization beyond core scope.
