About the Role :
This is an exceptional opportunity to join a forward-thinking organization as an Optoelectronic Nanomaterials Formulation Specialist. We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to lead our efforts in the synthesis and formulation of colloidal quantum dots for optoelectronic applications.
Key Responsibilities :
- Design and execute experimental strategies for the synthesis of colloidal quantum dots and formulation of inks for optoelectronic devices.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and optimize colloidal quantum dot and ink formulations for high-performance optoelectronic devices.
- Develop and implement metrology procedures to correlate end-of-line data with process parameters.
- Improve quality control methodologies for incoming and outgoing materials.
- Gather specifications from internal customers to deliver high-quality products and prototypes.
- Report results to stakeholders for feedback and further requirements definition.
- Work closely with teams in design, process, equipment support, testing, and failure analysis to understand device performance and potential failure modes.
- Contribute to innovation, drive process improvements, and reduce cycle times.
- Collaborate with suppliers and academic partners on innovative processes and raw materials.
- Acquire and start-up synthesis equipment.
- Contribute to invention disclosures and help maintain a safe working environment.
Requirements :
To be successful in this role, you will require :
Hands-on experience in colloidal quantum dot synthesis, ligand exchange processes, and ink formulation for optoelectronic device applications.Experience in designing, formulating, manufacturing, and testing nanoparticle-based inks and coatings for optoelectronic device applications.Expertise in absorption spectroscopy, FTIR, TEM, UPS, XPS, and other relevant metrology techniques for colloidal quantum dots.Proven track record of innovation, problem-solving, and failure analysis.Experience in managing vendors and suppliers.Working knowledge of R&D to high-volume manufacturing process transfer and statistical process control (SPC) is desirable.M.Sc. or Ph.D. in Chemistry or Materials Science.What We Offer :
