Who we are looking for
We are looking for a senior optical engineer with a specialisation in ferroelectric liquid crystals (FLCs). The successful candidate will play a key part in Inmersia’s R&D by leading the development of custom FLC optical elements for near-eye displays and act as a technical advisor in external projects with collaboration partners from industry and academia.
What you will do
- Design and develop FLC optical elements for near-eye displays
- Act as an in-house technical advisor for collaboration projects with industrial and academic partners
- Support the transition from R&D phase to production at scale
- Support the in-house patent attorney in drafting patents for inventions generated during the R&D process
