Tradition is currently seeking to appoint a Software Developer to be based within the Madrid office. Main responsibilities within the Software Developer position include : Develop server side applications in Java and / or C#. Manage various projects to integrate Tradition’s trading and back-office systems with exchanges, clients and other 3rd parties. Continual enhancement and evolution of core services and the platform’s service oriented architecture. Ensure security, compliance, and optimal performance. Collaborate with cross-functional teams in various countries and troubleshoot backend issues. Develop with a test-driven approach, employing established design and architecture principles. Strong involvement with performance and failure testing. Key skills, experience and competencies required in this role : Minimum 3 years server-side software development in Java Spring Boot. Working knowledge of PL / SQL. Experience in writing unit test and automated testing. Desirable skills : Financial markets. JSON / REST. SOA / Micro-services. Docker and Kubernetes.
