We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Technical Project Manager to lead and coordinate a large-scale, international software development initiative. The successful candidate will oversee a team of 90+ associates distributed across multiple countries, including Application Architects, Lead Business Analysts, and Airlines Industry SMEs. The project involves designing and deploying a microservices-based application using Java technologies on AWS.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Lead and manage a global development team of 90+ associates across multiple time zones.
  • Coordinate the efforts of Application Architects, Business Analysts, and SMEs to ensure alignment with project goals.
  • Oversee the design and implementation of a microservices-based architecture using Java technologies.
  • Ensure successful deployment and operation of the application on AWS infrastructure.
  • Define project scope, goals, and deliverables that support business objectives.
  • Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and resource allocations.
  • Monitor and report on project progress, risks, and issues to stakeholders.
  • Facilitate communication and collaboration among cross-functional teams.
  • Ensure adherence to quality standards, security policies, and compliance requirements.
  • Drive continuous improvement and agile best practices across the project lifecycle.

Required Qualifications :

  • Proven experience managing large-scale software development projects with international teams.
  • Strong technical background in Java, microservices architecture, and cloud deployment (preferably AWS).
  • Experience working with cross-functional roles including architects, analysts, and SMEs.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Kanban, etc.).
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Preferred Qualifications :

  • PMP, PMI-ACP, or equivalent project management certification.
  • Experience in the airline or travel industry.
  • Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI / CD pipelines.
  • Multilingual communication skills.
