Crédit Agricole Corporate & Investment Bank (CACIB) is seeking an Off-Cycle Analyst to join its Leveraged Finance and Corporate Debt Origination teams in Madrid. This role offers exposure to a broad range of financing solutions, from leveraged buyouts and acquisition financings to investment-grade corporate debt origination, supporting both multinational corporates and financial sponsors.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the origination, structuring, and execution of leveraged and corporate debt transactions (including LBOs, acquisition financings, refinancing, and investment-grade issuances).
  • Perform detailed financial modeling, valuation, and credit analysis for corporate and leveraged issuers across multiple industries.
  • Contribute to the preparation of client presentations, pitch materials to top Ibex 35 clients and Tier-1 Private Equity sponsors
  • Support industry, market, and company research to identify new opportunities and monitor ongoing client relationships.
  • Participate in the due diligence process and coordinate with internal teams (Coverage, Syndicate, Risk, Legal, etc.) to ensure successful transaction execution.

  • Profile & Requirements

  • Recently graduated (or about to graduate) from a top-tier university with a degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Engineering, or related field.
  • Strong understanding of corporate finance, capital markets and accounting.
  • Advanced skills in Excel and PowerPoint; prior exposure to financial modeling is highly valued.
  • Strong communication skills in English and Spanish.
  • Proactive, detail-oriented, and able to perform under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
