Global Supply Chain Director Opportunity

Overview

A dynamic international pharmaceutical organization seeks a seasoned professional to lead and optimize its global supply chain operations. As the Global Supply Chain Director , you will play a pivotal role in driving efficiency, ensuring regulatory compliance, and fostering cross-functional collaboration.

About the Role

The ideal candidate will have at least 10 years of management experience in the pharmaceutical sector, including a customer-facing role with big pharma clients. They should possess expertise in sourcing, production scheduling, planning, launches, and warehouse management, as well as proven ability to lead large teams (15+ people) and grow / develop team leaders.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the supply chain strategy in alignment with overall business goals.
• Lead a diverse team, providing direction, mentorship, and performance management.
• Oversee procurement, inventory management, production scheduling, logistics, and customer service.
• Drive cost optimization, process efficiencies, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for supply chain performance.
• Collaborate closely with production, quality assurance, regulatory, and commercial teams.
• Manage supplier relationships and negotiate cost-effective sourcing agreements.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory and quality standards, including GMP and GDP.
