The project!
As a Planning Specialist you will be responsible for managing and coordinating procurement activities within an organization. They ensure that goods and services are acquired efficiently, cost-effectively, and in compliance with company policies. Tasks include processing purchase orders, maintaining vendor relationships, tracking inventory, and ensuring timely delivery of materials.
What will the role entail?
Assist in processing purchase orders and tracking order statuses to ensure timely delivery of goods and services
Support the procurement team in maintaining accurate inventory records and reporting discrepancies
Communicate with vendors to resolve issues related to orders, deliveries, and pricing
Participate in the evaluation of supplier performance and provide insights for improvement
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand purchasing needs and ensure alignment with inventory management
Maintain organized documentation of purchasing activities and supplier contracts

Requisitos :
Requirements of the position :
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or similar
Basic understanding of purchasing and procurement processes
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
English - excellent written and verbal
Knowledge of SAP
Ability to analyze purchasing data for trends and opportunities
