You’ll join a diverse team of software, hardware, and network engineers, supply chain specialists, security experts, operations managers, and other vital roles. You’ll collaborate across AWS to deliver safety and security while providing the highest capacity at the lowest possible cost for our customers.

We have an immediate opening for a Fleet Remediation Project Design Electrical Engineer in the PDX Cluster.

As an Amazon Fleet Remediation Project Design Engineer, you will lead design projects in operational data centers, remediate issues, upgrade our existing infrastructure, or add new services. You will be the "go‑to" engineering resource for these projects and will provide lifecycle support from design through implementation. Your electrical expertise will be used to :

• Own the design for existing data center upgrades and design solutions that add infrastructure, capacity, improve availability, and / or increase sustainability.
• Perform design and equipment submittal review for data centers in your region.
• Interface with internal and external design teams, server hardware, environmental health & safety, field engineering, and controls engineering to promote standards that maintain consistency and reliability.
• Work on concurrent projects, sometimes in multiple geographical regions.
• Act as a technical subject matter expert during new remediation projects.
• Support construction, commissioning, operations, and turnover.
