Consolidation & Reporting Manager

GENERAL DESCRIPTION

Due to the rapid growth of the business, OW is looking to recruit an experienced consolidation profile to join the team, based at our Madrid headquarters and reporting to the Consolidation & Reporting Senior Manager of the company.

The successful candidate will assume responsibility for coordinating the consolidation process of the entire OW Group.

MAIN ACCOUNTABILITIES

• Manage the monthly, quarterly, and annual consolidation process for the more than 100 legal entities that make up the OW Group, in compliance with the consolidation and reporting deadlines.
• Monitor intercompany balances and ensure consistency in accounting of transactions across the Group.
• Analyze reporting packages in affiliated companies and joint ventures, ensuring accuracy and completeness, and compliance with Group accounting policies.
• Coordinate and communicate with local finance teams in the countries where the Group operates.
• Prepare consolidated financial statements and reports in accordance with IFRS and Group accounting policies, ensuring adherence to internal and external reporting requirements.
• Serve as a key point of contact for internal and external audits related to consolidation and reporting processes.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements within the consolidation and reporting functions to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
• Contribution to the standardization and implementation of procedures, accounting policies and controls in the Group's companies to ensure quality of information in the consolidation process.
• Assist with additional reporting requirements as needed.

ACADEMIC BACKGROUND

University – Accounting, finance, economics or related degree.

LANGUAGES

Proficient in English, other languages considered a bonus.
