Responsibilities

• Commissioning & Testing : Execute installation, routine maintenance, and repairs on LV and HV electrical systems, including converters, transformers, switchgear, circuit breakers, and associated components.
• Accurately read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and specifications.
• Ensure strict adherence to safety regulations and industry standards throughout all installation and maintenance operations.
• Support senior engineers in the commissioning of electrical systems and equipment.
• Conduct thorough pre-commissioning tests and inspections to ensure systems are service-ready.
• Provide comprehensive documentation of all commissioning activities, delivering detailed reports to the engineering team.
• Troubleshooting : Diagnose and resolve electrical issues, including faults in LV and HV equipment; utilize advanced testing equipment to identify and rectify electrical problems; collaborate with engineering teams to tackle complex technical challenges.
• Health & Safety : Uphold health and safety protocols, conduct risk assessments and implement control measures for electrical tasks; supervise and mentor Competent technicians to ensure safe systems of work and develop their skills; engage in safety training sessions and contribute to fostering a culture of safety within the team.
