Your Role The HSE Digital Lead will oversee and coordinate a wide range of digital workstreams, driving the development and execution of the HSE digital roadmap. This role promotes standardized practices, operational efficiency, and continuous improvement through innovation and data‑driven decision‑making. The Digital Lead ensures a seamless, user‑centric digital experience while supporting broader HSE initiatives to build a unified, high‑performing HSE organisation. This is a strategic and enabling role requiring visionary thinking, strong project management capabilities, and the ability to leverage data to deliver sustainable improvements across the function.
Responsibilities Develop and implement a forward‑looking digital strategy aligned with overall business objectives.
Manage and optimise digital platforms; oversee digital infrastructure to ensure reliability, scalability, and performance.
Drive change in a systemic way leveraging change management certification or experience (e.g., Prosci, Kotter).
Champion a data‑driven culture and foster a digital‑first mindset across the HSE function.
Drive innovation and excellence using advanced technologies and visual management tools to achieve best‑in‑class HSE performance.
Support functional data management and apply analytical thinking to identify trends, optimise systems, and generate performance insights.
Coach and mentor the HSE community to build digital capability and deliver operational excellence.
Effectively manage multiple priorities and complex issues in a dynamic environment.
Stay current with emerging technologies and continuously develop competencies relevant to the role.
Qualifications Degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Project Management, Digital Technology, or a related technical field from an accredited university or college.
Fluent in English with strong verbal and written communication skills. Additional language skills are valuable.
Demonstrated experience working within digital ecosystems and applying digital tools to drive transformation.
Proven ability to work within a matrix organisation, influencing and motivating diverse teams toward shared goals.
Confident facilitator with the ability to deliver HSE topics and presentations to varied audiences.
Demonstrated competency in Lean principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
Ability to travel up to 15% of the time.
