Backend Engineer – Fixed-Term Permanent Contract

We are looking forBackend Engineers(various levels of seniority) to join an exciting European DeepTech start-up inZaragoza. They can offer hybrid working (3 days on-site) within a commutable distance.They're a fast-growing AI & quantum computing company that develops cutting-edge software that boosts performance & efficiency.As aBackend Engineeryour skills will include : 2–5 years' experience building and supporting backend services using Python or Go.Strong grasp of REST or gRPC design principles, including API lifecycle management and performance tuning.Hands-on experience with Docker and a basic understanding of Kubernetes for scalable deployments.Solid knowledge of relational databases (PostgreSQL or MySQL) and sound schema design practices.Experience automating workflows or integrating multiple systems (data pipelines, CI / CD, ML tooling, etc.).Proficient with Git, test frameworks, and CI / CD platforms such as GitLab or GitHub Actions.Familiarity with AWS or similar cloud environments.A product-focused approach, capable of converting research code or prototypes into reliable APIs or microservices.Feel free to also refer someone you may know who could be good for the role.
