Senior Director Engineering & R&D

Overview

We are looking for an experienced E ngineering & R&D Leader to drive innovation and excellence in a global industrial environment. This is a strategic role leading a multidisciplinary team of +30 engineers (mechanical, electrical, software) and shaping the launch of a next-generation industrial machinery platform with international impact.

A professional with strong communication skills, stakeholder management in multicultural settings, and the ability to influence and deliver results in a complex, international environment.

Key Highlights

Proven track record in leading large technical teams in design & production of industrial machinery.

Strong experience in international, matrix-driven organizations , ensuring cross-border alignment and collaboration.

Solid background in end-to-end R&D project management , from concept through design, engineering, and global launch.

Key Tasks and Responsibilities

• Manage and develop a team of 30 engineers, ensuring motivation, accountability, and high-quality performance and be a technical reference for the them.
• Oversee planning, execution, and reporting of technical and R&D projects, ensuring alignment with global standards and business goals.
• Coordinate closely with headquarters in Germany to ensure strategic alignment, technology transfer, and integration of best practices.
