Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and strategic Procurement Manager to lead the procurement function and team. This role is key in driving supplier performance, optimizing cost-efficiency, and supporting cross-functional collaboration with departments such as R&D, Marketing, Manufacturing, and Supplier Quality.
You will develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with business objectives, drive continuous improvement across the supply base, and lead a team of procurement professionals. You’ll also play a critical role in supplier relationship management, contract negotiation, and risk mitigation.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of Procurement Leads and Specialists
- Define and implement procurement strategies and KPIs aligned with corporate goals
- Develop and maintain strategic supplier relationships and performance metrics
- Negotiate supply and quality agreements in line with business needs
- Monitor and manage supplier performance, including corrective action planning
- Collaborate with R&D and Marketing to support new product development and time-to-market objectives
- Drive savings initiatives and ensure alignment with profit plan and operational targets
- Ensure accurate SAP purchasing parameters and promote process simplification
- Lead departmental planning, performance reviews, and compliance with HR policies
- Maintain optimal inventory levels to prevent stockouts and supply disruptions
- Support digital transformation of procurement processes through IT collaboration
