We are looking for a talented
Network Engineer
to join our team for a multinational leader in the banking sector located in Madrid.
Key Responsibilities
Design, configure and support
firewalls
in HA environments, including NAT rules, VPN, routing and troubleshooting.
Participate in
INET architecture and design
based on Group standards defined in Europe.
Manage and maintain
proxies, DNS / DHCP, load balancers and remote access gateways .
Create and update
system documentation, network diagrams and project deliverables .
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure compliance with
corporate security and network standards .
Support project managers in
implementation, change management and operational handover .
Monitor and respond to incidents using
Zabbix and other monitoring tools .
Contribute to the
bank's operational permanent control framework
by ensuring correct governance and reporting.
Skills and Knowledge
Essential : Solid experience in
network security and firewalls
(CheckPoint, Fortinet, F5).
Knowledge of
routing protocols
(BGP, OSPF, static / dynamic routing).
Hands-on experience with
proxy management
(McAfee, Bluecoat).
Good understanding of
DNS / DHCP administration
(Infoblox desirable).
Familiarity with
load balancers
(F5 LTM / GTM, AVI Networks).
Experience in
remote access gateways
(Juniper, Cisco).
Monitoring and troubleshooting with
Zabbix, SNMP alerts .
Fluent in English (B2 / C1).
Desirable :
Scripting knowledge (Python, PowerShell, Bash).
Certifications : CCNA, CCNP, Fortinet NSE, CheckPoint CCSA / CCSE, F5.
Previous experience in
multinational financial environments .
